Hidden Treasure
Luxe department store Nordstrom is bringing a touch of altruism to its latest retail project, Treasure & Bond in SoHo, with 100% of profits donated to charity. Vogue empress Anna Wintour and philanthropist Catie Marron are the masterminds behind the apparel, homewares and accessories store, and have selected the first eight children's charities to benefit from the project. Next year, customers will be invited to suggest and vote for charities themselves. According to Nordstrom, Treasure & Bond is a "stepping stone" to opening a Nordstrom store in Manhattan. Accessories shopping has never felt so good!

Cider House Rules
Sixth Avenue is abuzz after the opening of new Spanish cider house-inspired eatery, Tertulia. Featuring a mix of Asturian tapas and larger share plates, Tertulia's menu is the masterwork of Seamus Mullen, formerly the chef at cured meat and cheese haven Boqueira. The restaurant's exposed brick interior and antique details like vintage butcher hooks, stained wine barrels and old-school market scales all make for an authentic Spanish feasting experience in the heart of the West Village. Take a gander at the pics and menu at Eater.

Gaga Unplugged
Our guess is that the Lady Gaga/Terry Richardson collaboration will prove nothing short of explosive. The notorious NYC-based photographer has spent ten months shooting thousands of images of the pop megastar for an all-encompassing photography epic, due to be released in November. The collection of unstaged images is said to include shots of adoring fans and images of Gaga at her most intimate. The book is available for pre-order.

Pop Art
A combination of open-air forum, think-tank and community center, the Guggenheim's latest project is a pop-up interactive museum on what used to be the ugliest vacant lot in the East Village. More than 100 artistic, urban-centric events are planned for the mobile hybrid structure, which will also visit Dubai and Berlin. Picnic tables, graffiti-covered brick walls and local organic food from popular Brooklyn-based Roberta's make for an urban picnic like no other. The BMW Guggenheim Lab will operate until October 16.

Brothers Lennon and Marley Ficalora are filling the skateboard void in Long Island's retail landscape with the opening of their new store Wampum. The only one of its kind in the area, the store offers boards from local set-ups like Huntington Beach's Katin, as well as global brands like Australia's favorite KFCC.
