ASSIGNMENT: BRAND REPOSITIONING

When True Religion set out to develop a new campaign to capture its focused, high-fashion, authentic and American point of view, they chose MODCo to deliver a result that would represent the brand’s spirit and work across all mediums. True Religion’s goal was clear: Focus the strategy and creative around the brand’s essence, but with a unique voice… all within a ticking timeframe.

GOALS & CHALLENGES

Assist an iconic American luxury denim brand to establish brand cohesion internally and externally in the midst of tremendous growth. Working as the first external agency of record for a brand that had historically managed all aspects of its creative services internally. Elevate brand imagery and language to a luxurious, fashion-conscious level and engage the fashion consumer. Coordinating change across a global organization comprised of multiple groups that touch the brand and its expression.

RESULTS

Reset a solid brand foundation, and an elevated creative positioning, as cleaner, clearer and more fashion facing. Implimented brand standards and guidelines to bring cohesion to the brand as it continues its rapid expansion. Creating an editorial series of video assets built around aspirational and iconic images connected to an originally developed narrative strategy.
