ASSIGNMENT: BRAND EXTENSION
When launching their first fragrance and body line in over 5 years, who doyou think Victoria’s Secret turned to? That’s right, your old friends at MODCo.We were given the task of developing the product line from beginning to end– working alongside the good folks at Victoria’s Secret, we came up with theconcept, the name, the story for each fragrance and all the packaging for aline that features over 250 products. Sassy.
GOALS & CHALLENGES
Create branding that stands out from the current packaging but retains the Victoria’s Secret spirit. Develop a system diverse enough to encompass all products in the range. Come up with an appropriate name. Break into a category that Victoria’s Secret hadn't been in for years.
RESULTS
A full scale fragrance and body line launch that vastly exceeded expectations on all counts, and that still sells out to this day.
