2006 ART DIRECTION / DESIGN PHOTOGRAPHED BY DANIEL GABBAY

Launched in Japan as the higher end big sister to Theory this brand was in need of an ad campaign and marketing materials.  Enter MODCo, the task was to create imagery that would appeal to the Japanese market and communicate a more luxurious grown up point of view.  It was important not to sully, confuse or otherwise take away from the parent brand in the process. Oh, and the ads need to look at least somewhat related but different.

You know, your basic brand extension that needs a stand alone identity.  For this campaign we made our hero a type of “Fountainhead” character, with all the luxury, professionalism, competence and drama that entails.  These ads broke to rave reviews from both client and customer.
